Not what I expected.

Comments:
The colours just aren't as vibrant as they appear on the website. I know that on screen images will always be more vibrant, but the difference between the actual print and the on screen print was not acceptable. In addition, the image was not high resolution so it looked quite blurry. The one I purchased was stretched canvas. The black edgest of the canvas looked like they were painted on after the image was printed, and was not very accurately done. (You could see the black on the front of the canvas.) I think the image would be good at a relatively small size in a frame. The one I got was quite large and on canvas.

About the Artist
A photographer for “National Geographic” for over 20 years, Raymond Gehman gorgeously depicts both the astounding and the ordinary. Also an editor of the magazine, Gehman was inspired by a “National Geographic” photographer who visited his school when he was nine, making him want to be a photographer, too. Saying that photography is special because everyone sees the world differently, Gehman enjoys catching “the little weird details” in his work. A resident of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Gehman also lectures and judges photo contests.
