The former Californian now lives in Colorado and takes advantage of the beautiful scenery to paint in her gardens and the surrounding San Juan Mountains’ meadows “en plein air,” whenever possible. Novak paints in oils using a wet-on-wet technique to create her cheerful, color-intense florals. Her works are exhibited in many fine galleries.
