Comments: I bought this to combat my beige painted rental and beige bedding I had from the last place I lived. What a perfect choice! The room has a ton of personality now. The poster is huge and I had to get it custom framed (as opposed to buying a pre-made frame) so be prepared to invest a little more than the poster costs. However, I am happy with my investment as this richly colored print will be around for a long time and I don't think I'll ever not love it!

Comments: I love this piece! My only con is that it is not a common size so finding a frame is a little challenging but it if you use one of the select a size frames it would work perfectly

Comments: Bought this as a gift for my mother who loves Irises, and Van Gogh's work is so lovely. Only problem is that I still have to wait for the framers!!

Product InformationPost-Impressionist Grand Master Vincent Van Gogh’s “Irises, Saint Remy, 1889,” depicts the garden of the hospital where he spent the last months of his life. Suffering from depression for most of his life, Van Gogh (1853 – 1890) believed he could remain sane by painting and continued to do so while in Saint Remy. This work, the first he created while he was a patient, was influenced by the strong outlines, unusual angles and unconventional coloring of Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints. Selling only one painting in his lifetime, Van Gogh’s “Irises, Saint-Remy” set a world record in 1987 when it sold for $49 million. This fine art lithographic print is produce on a medium-weight cover stock paper and coated with a silken finish that protects the inks and creates an elegant look. The paper is acid-free and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, an organization that supports the growth of responsible forest management. The detailed proofing process and standarized printing plates of offset lithography ensure this print reproduction maintains vivid colors and faithfulness to the original work of art. About the ArtistThe brilliant artwork of post-Impressionist Dutch Master Vincent Van Gogh (1853 – 1890) powerfully impacted countless artistic movements. Producing all of his works within a decade, Van Gogh’s output in just one year totaled 150 paintings and drawings. Van Gogh painted outdoors with a special talent for capturing the subtleties of nighttime light and shadow. He suffered from lifelong bouts with mental illness yet created many of his masterpieces while institutionalized. Selling only one painting during his lifetime, Van Gogh has endured as one of the last century’s most influential artists. © AllPosters
