Comments: It appears much larger in real life and as a result can dominate the room, so care has to be taken over its siting

Comments: I already had a Mucha poster from AllPosters which is great and I wanted another one to complement it for the living room. This poster is of a lovely quality and the picture is clear and with good colours. It is a big size and fills the wall space nicely. I had it framed locally mainly so that the frame matched the other one but also as the frame prices online seemed high.

About the ArtistPioneering Czechoslovakian artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939) created a sumptuous Art Nouveau style filled with soft colors, curving lines and ethereal women. Mucha was inspired to paint by the artwork he saw in churches. A starving artist in Paris, Mucha skyrocketed to fame after he created a life size poster for Sarah Bernhardt’s play, “Gismonda.” The poster, which differed from current artistic trends, made him a household name and earned him a six-year contract from Bernhardt. In the 1960’s, Mucha’s style was revived, especially in psychedelic posters. © AllPosters
