Comments: I saw the poster in The Sun our Thursday paper on the Gold Coast Qld, Australia. My daughter who is 37 years old admired it and said how much she would love it on her dining room wall. I ordered it as a surprise for Christmas and will have it framed for her. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was good quality.

Product InformationThis art print was created using a sophisticated digital printer. The Giclee printing process delivers a fine stream of archival ink on archival paper, resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display. About the ArtistPioneering Czechoslovakian artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939) created a sumptuous Art Nouveau style filled with soft colors, curving lines and ethereal women. Mucha was inspired to paint by the artwork he saw in churches. A starving artist in Paris, Mucha skyrocketed to fame after he created a life size poster for Sarah Bernhardt’s play, “Gismonda.” The poster, which differed from current artistic trends, made him a household name and earned him a six-year contract from Bernhardt. In the 1960’s, Mucha’s style was revived, especially in psychedelic posters. © AllPosters
