            Product Information

            With the rich look of weathered parchment, the National Geographic “World Political Map, Executive Style,” gives up-to-date details in burnished antique tones. Insets describe the vegetation, population density and land use in different regions. Winkel Tripel projection, which accurately transfers a sphere to a flat surface, enhances the map’s precision. The map won an award from the Printing Industries of America, as well as the American Congress on Surveying & Mapping.

            This National Geographic map features a Tripel Projection, which reduces distortion of land masses as they near the poles. Corner inset maps feature vegetation, land use, and population density. It is printed at a scale of 1 inch to every 354 miles.
